Mentioned in the Paramount thread, but worth a separate post for sure.

Great price. I just ordered one as an X-mas present for my father-in-law. I already have them.

Thanks OP. I have been waiting for a deal on these. Got one for myself and one for a Christmas present for my brother. Both Star Trek fans.

I'm not really in the mood currently to pick this up, but if it's still available at this price point during the 20% sale, I'll be all over it.

Great deal!

I was going to wait for the HD-DVDs/Blu Rays of these but then again I really only want 2, 4, 6 and 8 in HD to tell ya the absolute truth

Holy crap. I've never been a consistent watcher of any Star Trek series, but I've watched some, and some of the movies. For that price, though, I'm gonna go for this.

Just an FYI, and reminder, on this Star Trek title and the other titles in this closeout promotion -- quantities are limited and when they're gone, they're gone. Units are moving quickly (in particular this title) so if you're interested in the deal you may want to get in early.

Thanks everyone for your business.

I like how they have the release date so that it will only ship AFTER you know what.

I bit on this deal...thanks OP!

Also, for those of you waiting for the 20% off sale, I picked up a couple of copies of Alligator (to use an example) for less than $16 last week, and now they are $10.24, so I actually got a better deal than I would have if I waited for the sale.

Then that's even worse of them. Since they have it listed as a pre-order, their system will not allow the discount to be applied to the item, no matter if they are going ahead and shipping them out or not.

This is a special promotion with inventory being available to us on the 11/26 street date as indicated. On some titles we did have a very minimal amount of inventory on hand so some early orders did ship. The other orders will ship as we get the inventory to arrive on or about street date.

This is crazy! How did I not see this earlier? I guess I was focused on the hd-dvd player.

I recently bought the only two Star Trek movies I have (II: Wrath of Khan, and IV: The Voyage Home) at Wal-mart for $7.50 each. I hate to double dip, but I already opened and watched them.

Do the 2-disc movies in this set come wrapped separately so I could return them with my Wal-mart receipt or is it one big wrapped slim pack case?

Yeah, I went ahead and dove in for this. I'll resell the only one I've got (II) or just donate it to my library for a tax write-off.
