Sebastian Bach "Angel Down" due 11/20 (Axl Rose sings on a few tracks on it)
Former SKID ROW frontman Sebastian Bach is set to release "Angel Down" on November 20, his first solo album in eight years. The 14-song "Angel Down" was produced by Roy Z (BRUCE DICKINSON, HALFORD, JUDAS PRIEST), and was recorded in July and August 2006 at Sound City studios in Hollywood, CA. The CD will be released via a joint venture between Merovingian Music, Ltd. (MRV) and Bach's Get Off My Bach Productions, and distributed worldwide through Caroline/EMI Music Group.
BLABBERMOUTH.NET was granted an opportunity to conduct an exclusive interview with Bach this past Friday (August 17) about his upcoming CD and his collaboration with GUNS N' ROSES frontman Axl Rose on two of the album's cuts — first single "(Love Is) A Bitchslap" and a cover of AEROSMITH's "Back in the Saddle".

Interesting, I may have to pick this up. I liked (but didn't love) Bach's first solo album and I really like Roy Z's work. Axl and Bach both seem kind of like trainwrecks, but at least Bach is able to record and release an album.

I realise that this may be unnecessary but, given our past experiences hereabouts, I hope all respondents will endeavour to keep any Bill Bailey comments on topic.

So uhhh.. Did anyone pick this up?
I got it yesterday and so far I can say that it's pretty damn good, it kinda snuck in under my radar so I was suprised when I was browsing CDs and my buddy who owns the shop said "We got that new Sebastian Bach record". He actually gave me a promo copy to check out for a couple days, but it's good enough that I think I'll buy it. Anyone else?

I got it. I think it's pretty good. It's different than what I expected, a little harder. I wish his voice were a little more "pretty" kind of like on Slave to the Grind, there's a lot of yelling. I really like the cover of Back in the Saddle.
It was cool to see he used his dad's art for the cover. I saw him on Miami Ink getting that image tattooed on his forearm. Apparently his dad died a few years ago.

I was hoping for a bit more harmony in the music and some good Bach vox. I was pretty disappointed. (I liked the ballad (track 9) and the 'Smith cover.)
