So I guess this confirms the price drop on the PS3 isn't CC-only (not that anybody really thought that it was).

The folks at NeoGAF certainly thought so and very openly hostile about it.

They already had the ps3 price break at my local target in muncie, IN.

^Yeah, so question about this, as well as Circuit City's ad I suppose... Does it say anywhere on either one of these ads if the price is effective 7/12, or it is effective 7/8?

Nope.

The ads were printed before I broke the story and after the news hit the net. The announcement of the 7/12 date was the result of my "leakage".

Stores should have signs up noting the $100 price drop on 7/12/07.

On a side note, I did find "The Chronicles of Narnia 4-Disc DVD Edition" on clearance for $10.
