VERY cool! Haven't been to a Rush show since '97, so I'm overdue.

If that was the Test for Echo tour, then same here.

Heavier than Vapor Trails? That was one of their heaviest albums... Anyway, great news! I just rewatched R30 last night. It's surprising but they are definitely at the top of their game right now.

What a coincidence. That's what I'm playing right now in the other room. I've got the surround sound cranked up so I can hear it properly. Neighbors be damned!

Rush was my favorite band for probably 20 years, but I was underwhelmed by the last 2 albums, so I'm not expecting much. Hopefully I will be surprised.

That 10 second clip is better than all of Vapor Trails combined.

I'm not sure I can express in words how jacked I am for this tour (after seeing them every time they have toured since 1990); even my wife, who only begrudgingly likes them, is excited.

I'm ready for the tour. Should get here in mid-July, if the schedule continues in a logical manner.

Great news, I've never seen them live, so I hope they come to either nissan or meriweather and with reasonable ticket prices (should i sign up to their fan club to get closer seats?

As far as I know Rush has never sold seats via their fan club, you might just want to sign up for their email list.

Can't wait! This will be my 4th Rush concert if they make it to CT again. Definitely looking forward to it. Listened to 2112 today on my afternoon commute actually.

Do yourself a favor and catch them live before they break up. Frankly, these days you never know if their latest CD/Tour will their last. RUSH is my must see band when they come anywhere near LA. The point is RUSH is one of the few bands left today that still put on a "full show". It's an audio/visual treat and there's no way you'll be at a RUSH show without saying "WOW!" several times. The dvd's give you a good idea but you have to see and hear it all with your own eyes and ears.

Break up? They will never break up, they will retire first; this might be their last tour but I would not count on it.

True, they'll just quietly fade away. If they do anything at all to announce it, they'll send out a press release stating that there will be no further albums or tours. Don't look for multiple farewell tours and a media circus from these guys.

Ok whatever guys. How do you guys know they'll never break up? If they retire isn't that the same thing? Shit, they've been at it for 30 + years.

I'm also not saying this is the last CD/Tour.
