Is this the same as was in the special packaging in a tin years ago as I have that one?

I meant is the disk contents the same as was on that collectible tin version. I have clicked the link.

I believe this and the tin are exactly the same, but I *could* be wrong.

(obviously packaging is an exception, but we've already been through that )

Right- the discs are the same. The tin came with a nice booklet shaped like the mars, and the one with the slip case only does not have an insert, FWIW the tin is not a great case for any movie. (See speed racer, or the simpsons head packages)

Does anyone know anything about the THX Optium editions of this?
