That's a great price for NipTuck 2. Too bad I already have it. Still haven't finished Season 1. Probably Romancing the Stone & Jewel of the Nile for me. Thanks for the info!

Just Arrested Development s3 for me! I was thinking about Romancing the Stone and Jewel of the Nile but then I thought about how much I'd actually rewatch them and figured it wasn't worth it at any price. I've started cutting back on my dvds like that, but especially the movies.

Speedy, do you know if the Wicker Man dvd listed for $9.99 is the new release?
It seems weird that it would be advertised at all, and weirder more that it would be with sale/older releases.
Thank you.

Ah, finally I can pick up Kiss Kiss Bang Bang. I don't think anyone should be upset, aside from Criterions, DVDs nearly always drop in price eventually.

Just wanted to clarify, the first and second seasons of the O.C. are $18.99 each? If so that's a great price that i'll be all over. Thanks for the prices.

Sorry.... I saw the giveaway on the Front page and thought it was a review.

It should be the same stuff but repackaged.

Arrested Development (Season 3) and probably The Sentinel. I guess the retail on Romancing the Stone and Jewel of the Nile are $14.99? If so, I'd imagine those DVDs could go even lower than $9.99 before the end of the year.

I didn't even know there was a double dip coming on the LOTR EE. I saw Speedy's quick summary of the differences here and in the Target ad which indicate the new material is some featurettes/documentaries, but no changes to the movie except it's presented with seamless branching for the theatrical edition. Well, I don't have the time and energy to research the exact differences in the extras. I guess the important thing is that the movie's presentation hasn't improved. Hearing it's a DVD-18 is a big negative if they use the famed DVD-18 plant in Mexico often used by Universal.

Perhaps when these new EEs get down in the $6 range in about a year, then I'll look up some reviews to see if the extras are worth the price.
