Some DVDs to Trade.

Recently moved countries (now in United States) and I needed to weed out some stuff. I'll probably have to do this again soon to fit. I will be trying to keep my collection at the same level, so I'll have some future trades probably in the future to make room for new stuff.

Anyway, here is my list and I am open to offers:

All are previously watched.

13th Child (Robert Guillaume)

Ash Wednesday (Elijah Wood, Edward Burns)

Aswang (Special Director's Cut Edition) - Traded

Boogymen -the killer compilation

Death Sentence (Nick Nolte)

Dracula 2000 (Wes Craven)

Hollywood Ghost Stories

Jackie Chan 2 Pack (Fantasy Mission Force and Master with Cracked Fingers)

Killing Emmett Young (Tim Roth, Gabriel Byrne, Scott Wolf)

Light It Up (Forest Whitaker, Usher, Rosario Dawson)

Link (Elizabeth Shue)

Nirvana Teen Spirit - The Tribute to Kurt Cobain

Roots of Evil (Four horror movies - Including Christmas Evil, House on the Edge of the Park, Messiah of Evil, Deep Red-The Hatchet Murders)

The Swap (DeNiro)

The Terror (Nicholson)

Let me know what you'd like to trade. Thanks for looking.

I'd be interested in South Park. The disk that's scratched: does it still play with no problems/skips?

Hey, I'm interested in Link (With Elisabeth Shue, right?). Anything in my trade thread you'd be into? It's mostly horror films.

I'm sorry, someone just might be buying that one. I have a pending on that now. If it doesn't go through, I'll let you know if you're still interested? Should know by tomorrow night, at the latest?

Disc 1 of my South Park: S2, no, it does not skip at all. The couple scratches is has, has no effect on the play whatsoever. The other 2 discs in the set are about as clean as the day they were bought. Hope that helps a little?

For some reason I get Invalid Thread when I click on it. I'll try to find your thread. Sorry for the delay in response, I didn't turn on my computer this weekend.

I'd also be interested in that Zombi 2 one, but I read on Amazon that the disk may be defective. They mention a scene that skips on two different copies of the DVD. Do you know if this is true?

Here's the snippet:
"The DVD will freeze/skip during the doctor's flashback sequence. I went through 2 copies. Both had the exact same problem on several DVD players & computers"

I don't know the movie, but if you do and it doesn't skip on your copy, I'd be happy to trade for it.

I found your post. You have a bunch of ones I enjoy. I'd be interested in Ichi The Killer. Let me know when you have a chance. I'll post in your thread too.

Forgot to answer your question. Yes it's the one with Elizabeth Shue.

Your e-mail for dvdtalk isn't turned on, so I guess I'll post this here.

Hi,
My Zombi 2: 2 disc-set is sold, sorry. I never saw the defect you're referring to, to be honest with you. I just flipped my personal copy in after reading what you put, and there's nothing wrong with mine, with freezing or skipping. I belong to a Euro-Cult forum and I honestly haven't heard anything mentioned on there about it either? Obviously though, I guess there are maybe some out there, as someone seemed to run into them? Is this just 1 person's experience though, or a few, that you read about? There's also the Blue Underground release of the exact movie, but that's only known as "Zombie". If I had to put my money on it though, I would say it's a SS/MB defect & not BU's disc?

Hope that helps a little?

UPDATE: I just went and checked out that review you're talking about on Amazon.com. That looks to be only that 1 person that's had that problem? Or the only 1 that's complaining/posted about it, at least? This is the 1st I ever heard of it. I don't know, maybe there are some, but I just haven't heard otherwise?

Hey, I'm still interested in Link, but not sure I want to get rid of Ichi for it. Interested in anything else? Is Link widescreen? Anamorphic?

Yep it's widescreen ehhanced for .... tv's.

My #1 choice is Ichi,
#2 and #3 show as pending (one is Original Toolbox Murders).
Last choice would be Sick...

So, I'd prefer Ichi, but... Let me know what you think. Thanks
