Is Tripping the Rift worth a $13 blind buy?

3 disc wizard of oz drops on Oct 25th. Is that price above for the 3 disc? Why would they advertise the 2 disc when the 3 disc is out that week?

Let's hope Circuit City comes through with better prices.
I have heard they are going to have Titanic 3D for $17.99

I think they advertised both:

$33.99
Wizard of Oz 3d CE Gift Set

$16.99
Wizard of Oz ($12.99 RZ members)

Because they're both being released on the 25th.

No Reward Zone deals this week? Guess I'll be going online with my purchases. RZ is about the only thing making the trip to BB worth it lately.

Unless my eyes are deceiving me, Rize and The Wizard of Oz(2 disc) are $12.99 with RZ as opposed to $16.99. Sweet deal on TWOZ for $12.99.

I consider myself a huge Oz fan, but I must confess that I'm not a wealthy one. I think I'll have to pass by the 3-disc version and pick up the 2-disc -- a savings of $21 for RZ members. That's an awful lot for an extra disc and some paper brochures.

Ditto. I'm all over it and I'll price match Titanic.

I didn't realize the Wizard of Oz 2-DVD would be so cheap ($12.99). When I got an offer at Columbia House for the 3-DVD for $23.97 (+ 1 free DVD up to $19.99 MSRP), I jumped at that. Well, I guess it's too much trouble to cancel. I thought the 3rd disc was worth paying $23.99 vs. 16.99 as I expected in stores, but for $11 more vs. a free DVD it's about a wash.

I suppose those buying the 2-DVD could always rent the 3rd disc to watch what you're missing.

I'll wait to see Sunday's Circuit City ad before I decide if I'm going to order Titanic 3 DVD for $17.97 from Columbia House. (For some reason some people have different prices on certain sets at CH.)

Does anyone realize (or care) that Convoy (Kris Kristofferson) is being released on Tuesday by a company called "Music Video Distributors"? Not only do I expect no stores will carry that, but it'll be almost impossible to find any reviews of it on the net. I don't suppose anyone would know anything about this release and if it's a good transfer instead of a bad one like the last release by some nobody third-party?

I had the 3 disc of Wizard of Oz on pre-order from Amazon. $22 for that third disc? I'm just going to go for the 2 disc now.

It seems much of the third disc early Oz content can be found on the public domain World of Oz set if you can find it used/cheap.

Probably because last week people couldn't find the BB prices as the thread still said CC and Target.

More $12.99 RewardZone prices. I wonder if Bewitched, House of Wax,
and Herbie FL are included since they're $16.99 on the website.

Oops, missed that little section down there. I was hoping for RZ pricing on things like Alias season 4. Wizard is tempting; I highly doubt that third disc is worth the premium the other set charges.

I think I'm resolved to the 2 disc as well. I am weak when it comes to not getting the "better" of 2 versions, but the 3 disc just doesn't have anything on it that I'm interested in, the amazing RZ price on the 2 disc allows me to make a blind buy on Melinda and Melinda if I choose to, and I think that I'm the only person in the world who likes the 2 disc cover more than the 3 disc cover.
