Here's another "buy one get four free" code:
"To get the Buy 1, Get 4 Free offer, enter the promotion code "C6C50A9" in the box on the left side of our website's homepage and click "apply." But Hurry! Offer is only good until 3/18/2006!"

Question?
Does taking the B1G4 offer allow you to fulfill your membership agreement, or no? I AM being charged regular price for a selection, but the shopping cart says "Your special offer" for each, so it leads me to believe it won't count. What's the deal?

I finally joined BMG after a year or so off-I can't believe these deals! It's insane to me B1G4 is crazy to me. Anyway, thanks to everyone that's contributed to this thread.

One of my favorites:
"To get the Unlimited $5.99 CDs and Free Shipping when you order 5 or more offer, enter the promotion code "C6STC4" in the box on the left side of our website's homepage and click "apply." But Hurry! Offer is only good until 3/30/06!"

Police CDs
Not sure if this is the right place for this question, but:
Does anyone know if the Police CDs that are available at BMG -- their five individual studio albums, not the MIAB Box Set -- are the remastered editions?

This does not seem like a good deal when you factor in shipping and handling, but here is BMG's new promotion:
Premium Titles is our collection of today's hot new releases and essential classics previously unavailable in the Club. Simply click on an album for additional information and sound samples. Don't forget, you get a FREE CD with the purchase of any Premium Title.
Free CDs are limited to single, regular-priced units and do not include your Featured Selection, sales restricted product or other Premium Titles. This special promotion is not part of your current offer and is for credit card purchase only. A shipping and handling charge, plus applicable taxes, will be added to each CD.

IMHO, if you're willing to pay discount retail ($10-13) for a cd, you're just going to buy it locally and save the shipping and wait time. Not a hot deal at all.

BMG has gone down hill in the last couple of years in terms of selection.A few years back they had a bunch of Zappa titles and now they have 0.I have searched for many artists(ie;Manowar,Saxon,Helloween,Peter Gabriel,Killing Joke,PIL,Sparks,HAmmerfall,Devin Townsend etc.)and turned up 0 results.I used to be pleasantly surprised when flipping through their mailings to see several new releases that I definitely wanted.Unfortunately those days are long over.It really makes me wish the CH CD club was still around.Sure, there deals weren't as good but the variety of artists was much better.

... to each their own, i guess. i buy from bmg fully realizing they have a limited selection. and for it being a limited selection, there are a ton of great albums to buy. i see it as them having gone up, not down.

I always thought BMG had a better selection of artists than CH did. CH didn't have a lot of the bands I was into, or they had them at one time and then dropped them. I was disappointed BMG didn't end up adding CH's artists to their catalog, though. CH had a few I was interested in that BMG didn't have.

I asked a mod about this, but I think my suggestion was declined, so I will appeal to the members.
Can we not beg for codes? The folks who have codes know there is a demand for them and will post when the codes become available. Bumping the thread with requests wastes the time of folks like me who think a new code is available. Besides, the thread is stickied, so unless there is a new code or a discussion, is there a need to needlessly bump the thread?

Well, a few months ago I asked if there were any codes and someone respoded with a code I didn't know about for free shipping, so yeah I think I'll keep asking.

A new code:
To get the 60% Off, Plus FREE Shipping and Handling offer, enter the promotion code "AP6PM2" in the box on the left side of our website's homepage and click "apply." But Hurry! Offer is only good until 5/3/06!
This is a great code for the "Gold" 2 CD sets from various and sundry artists. They're $7.99 each, so it's less than $4 a CD.
