Blu-ray player died...in search of a cheap all region player with built in wi-fi
title says it all...trying to not spend an arm and a leg for a decent player that i can watch anything on and can stream netflix. thanks.

The Panasonic DMP-BDT210 is region free for blu-rays but not dvds (you have to let the disc load and then hit two keys on the remote, I think it's STOP then 1 then ENTER). And it was last year's model, I don't know if the current models still do this and most people don't seem to know about this hack for the 210.

Bought mine used on ebay for under $40.
Easy to hack, only DVDs can be made region-free.
It's held up beautifully after some extensive viewing the last 18.

Not trying to hijack the thread, but I'm in the market for a new one as well. Lookking to spend $200 and under. Any suggestions would be appreciated, thanks. And I just care about it playing all region blu's. I don't really care about it not playing all region DVD's.

I just (like 15 minutes ago) bought an OPPO BDP-103 to replace my OPPO DV-980H that I've had since 2008 (came here to see when I bought it). It wasn't cheap, but it seems kinda worth it. All my research was telling me I wasn't gonna like the cheaper stuff.
