The Mike and Molly sets look like an okay deal until you realize the complete DVD set for the entire series (9 seasons) can usually be had for around $30 on eBay.

There are reports of new Blu-ray titles showing up. I haven't personally seen any of the new BDs at local stores, however.

I did see that batch of $10 Blu-rays (I am Number 4, that recent Muppets film, etc) hit one store after seeing it reported a month or two ago.

A few $1.88 DVDs remain since Black Friday because...

I did hear about that new batch of Blu-rays showing up, though I haven't gone to confirm it. My local stores are very unreliable in putting out their media items on any kind of normal schedule.

It really depends now on the location. I think they used to get more similar shipments when Big Lots was a much smaller chain. There are now consistent differences in what some stores receive. I know...

I just saw that Princess Bride edition today in a new waterfall display. The display also included things like the remastered 1978 animated version of Lord of the Rings, Defendor, a handful of BDs...

Big Lots has also become a much larger chain with more locations to stock since its initial foray into DVDs. Everyone else saw the buzz they got from the Warner fiasco and wanted in on the action.

It wouldn't surprise me if a lot of the Joeys were destroyed. They had very little retail value and probably cost more to store than their remaining value.

The first couple of seasons for Nip/Tuck are great television. The rest of the series? Not so much...The same probably for Gossip Girl. Friends and Fringe both exist in Blu-ray quality.

Chuck is the one show where I can't recommend the Blu-ray as a serious upgrade. I'm not sure their budget filming exceeds 720p in real resolution, anyway.

I have to agree. They have like purple, dark purple, and an even darker shade of purples as their color codes.:lol: It's the worst, most confusing signage possible.

That list looks about right, most of those have been circulating in some form at Big Lots over the past year. I think they try to split them up now between different locations.

I haven't checked the discs for extras, but they were all two-disc flipper sets with the slipcover. There was also a John Wayne War set.
