That movie bored the hell out of me and it really isn't about Ip Man. His story is basically the bookends for the whole story.

Merantau felt like a retread of Ong Bak. It bored the shit out of me. I agree the Mad Dog villian was bad ass.

Revenge had a good build up but the ending was sort of 'meh'. Overall, I enjoyed it and would recommend it, too but the ending could have been better.

The graphic nature of the violence didn't really bother but when the killer

was sifting through his diarhea for the homing device I wanted to barf. LOL

Yeah, it takes a little bit of Death Wish, The Professional and Taken and other similarly themed movies but it all works well together. The knife fights are brutally graphic and I haven't seen a good...

Damn, that's more than twice the price and it's release date is only a week before the U.S. BD. I wonder when the HK version is coming out.

I don't know if these have been mentioned but I recently saw them. Ichi (female version of Zatoichi) is good but not worth a second look. I really wanted to like it more since it starred the actress...
