Can't figure out how to embed it but Sean Hannity is suddenly a feminist and champion of LGBT rights...to keep Muslims out of the country.

These people are unbelievable.

You mean only Democrats can use particular groups for their political cause?

Using people as pawns is no surprise to politics. Should be no surprise to you.

Like HRC and Blacks?

It's a little different when you take a group you actively hate and use them as justification for hatred of a completely different group.

Yeah, it's always a little different when somebody points out your own political friends are doing the same thing.

Number one 'cable' news channel - I think the big three networks are still the largest - correct? Though considerably less than their heyday...

Yes, their nightly network news ratings are still higher than cable news shows but I wouldn't call any broadcast network a "news network" or "news channel."

Re: Fox News Alert! (A Fox News Thread)

at how poster's viewpoints change from thread to thread.

Hannity's claims inconsistent with actions = hypocrite.

PP shooter's claims inconsistent with actions = true adherent.

Interesting how stances continue to be adjusted according to the particular ox being gored at any specific time.

People aren't saying that Hannity's statements are inconsistent with some platonic ideal of conservatism; they're saying they're inconsistent with his own prior statements on gay rights and feminism.

Re: Fox News Alert! (A Fox News Thread)

As a person that has listened to Hannity many times, specifically after a major events (to get perspective on what the extreme fringe is saying), he can't get through a full hour of his show without proving he is the poster child of conservative hypocrisy. When, and if, he ever allows a liberal Christian on the show, he shouts them down (or flat out cuts off their audio) when they call him out on his fringe views are the only way BS.

Exactly - his claims were inconsistent with his claims. That's textbook hypocrite.

I think calling Hannity a hypocrite is giving him too much credit. He's an opportunist, so he's going to take whatever opportunity he can get to say something that will get him ratings and generate cash.

Dear is also not a hypocrite, he believed that Christianity called him to action.

But it was the wrong kind of Christianity, so he wasn't really a Christian.

Others who self-identify as Christian but denounce his actions as evil and not consistent with the tenets of Christianity are speaking out. That doesn't seem to factor at all but rather it's rejected.

It's because those some people will turn around and say that all Muslims are terrorists or that Islam is a violent religion, when other Muslims are denouncing the same things.

It's the idea that a true Christian couldn't be a violent scumbag but a true Muslim is just following their religion when they blow up a school.

Did you mean "those same people?"

If so...and you're talking about people on this board...it should be a snap to provide actual posts supporting your claim.

Otherwise, I'm sure that your correction will be immediately forthcoming.

And certainly not anybody whose name rhymes with wi-fi.
