Well, speaking of precedent, that isn't how she got Tripp.

So, are you going to believe 2000 year old precedents or 6 year old precedents?

I think Levi Johnston was hired by the Palins to pretend that he was Tripp's father so that the world wouldn't learn too soon that Tripp is actually the second son of God. I'm almost 100% certain that Bristol is still a virgin.

Re: The Official Bristol Palin is Knocked Up Again Thread

Now she says her pregnancy was planned. I don't know if she's lying or telling the truth, but it's hypocritical that this conservative, Christian Republican, who who got paid hundreds of thousands of dollars for speaking out against premarital sex, is now saying that she got pregnant out of wedlock on purpose.

Bristol Palin Responds to the Haters: My 'Pregnancy Was Actually Planned'

June 28, 2015

Bristol Palin is responding to critics after she announced that she was expecting her second child earlier this week.

Palin, 24, said in a new Patheos blog post on Sunday that despite originally saying that news of the pregnancy "has been, and will be, a huge disappointment" to her family, friends and fans, she doesn't want people to think that the child wasn't planned.

"None of us are perfect," Palin wrote. "I made a mistake, but it’s not the mistake all these giddy a$$holes have loved to assume. This pregnancy was actually planned.

"Everyone knows I wanted more kids, to have a bigger family. Believing I was heading that way, I got ahead of myself. Things didn’t go as planned, but life keeps going. Life moves on," she continued.

"But I do not regret this baby. This baby is not a disappointment, and I cannot wait to be a mom times two. Tripp is going to make the best big brother!!"

Tripp is Palin's 6-year-old son with ex-fiancé Levi Johnston.

Palin also shot down claims that she was "paid as an 'abstinence spokesperson'," clarifying that she was employed by the Candie's Foundation, which bills itself as a non-profit that "works to shape the way the youth in America think about the devastating consequences of teen pregnancy and parenthood."

Palin does say that she is strongly against abortion and that she "never even thought of aborting this child, NO MATTER WHAT THE CIRCUMSTANCE."

"I am pregnant," she continued. "This is not the ideal situation, but life is important even if it's not in the most absolute ideal circumstance. This is more confirmation on what I've always stood for. I've always been pro-life and I am standing for life now.

Palin broke the news of her pregnancy one month after canceling her wedding to Dakota Meyer, a former U.S. Marine. Neither Palin nor Meyer have commented on who the father of the unborn child is, but Meyer did break his silence on social media this week, criticizing the media for overshadowing stories of terrorism and putting on a "dog and pony show."

The glow of impending motherhood, or is it the radiance of the ignorance of one's own unimaginable cognitive dissonance?

Just stop talking, dumbass. You're lying when you say it was planned and that it's a good idea to have a baby out of wedlock at your age. Just flat out lying.

She reminds me of Octomom when she was telling everyone that she had things handled. Then her life turned into a giant trainwreck.

Umm...yes, it does.

No need to shout about it (although it does appear to be a well-kept secret for those who don't understand biology, so maybe your PSA is needed).

Wouldn't it be worse for her to say she planned to have a baby out of wedlock? If you're part of the wait till marriage crowd, having a baby accidentally out of wedlock is a mistake, but planning to have a baby out of wedlock is intentionally defying your religion.

Why?

The result doesn't affect the severity of the sin.

It's not the result I was talking about, but the intention. Or does Jesus not care about that?

The silliness of "one thing lead to another" aside, sex is always intentional. What difference does it make if one intended to engage in premarital sex and get pregnant vs. one who intended to engage in premarital sex and not get pregnant? I would assume god would care the same amount in either case, no?

I suppose it depends on one's conception of God, no?

In the corporeal world, I would be punished differently if I were horsing around with a gun and it accidentally went off and shot someone than if I intentionally shoot them.

No, because unlike a someone being shot, a pregnancy itself is not a bad thing nor a sin. And again, one does not accidentally have sex. The intent, having sex, is the same, with or without a pregnancy.

I am of course putting aside exacerbating issues, such as purposefully bringing a child into the world that can't be properly cared for, since they don't appear to apply in this case.

Since she doesn't appear to have learned how to give a blowjob, I doubt Sarah taught her about the loophole.

A lot of Christians have spent a lot of energy explaining how gay marriage is worse than individual instances of gay sex because it reflects an intent to continue sinning. Were they consistent, I would expect the Palin girl committing to getting pregnant before marriage to be viewed as worse than an individual occurrence of premarital sex.

Why do people even accept her that this one was actually planned? Her own words say that it wasn't.

This was planned, but things didn't go as planned... ok, so it was another unplanned pregnancy.

She should seek marriage and parenting advice from Kim Davis.

A planned mistake. Sounds like she learned the art of bullshit well from her mother.

Not unless you say "yes" every 10 minutes like Sophomores in CA are being taught. http://www.thecollegefix.com/post/24651/

But not all of us think rape is so easy to ignore, pig.

I think that translates as, "We were totally planning to get married and have a kid, so premarital sex wasn't a sin, but then he dumped me."

In other words, the white trash version of Christian ethics, same as Kim Davis.
