Are you confusing this thread with the Never Ending Sequitur Thread?

While I'm sorry for your uncle's bad experience, it's not typical.

VA Rates High on Patient Satisfaction in National Survey.

I'm certain that Ramirez has a consistent set of beliefs. We just have to figure them out. If I see a contradiction in successive cartoons, it must be because I don't understand. Otherwise, he would be no different from the crazy guy downtown who's shouting insults at parking meters.

Hmmm...
Quote:
In an October 2014 speech for the Institute of Medicine, McDonald declared: “Since 2004, the ACSI has consistently shown that veterans receiving both VA inpatient and outpatient care give VA higher satisfaction ratings than patients at private hospitals.”

Just one problem: ACSI spokesman Chaat Butsunturn said the company does not do VA health-care surveys.

Gibson also was advised that ACSI LLC does conduct a survey on overall public satisfaction with key federal agencies, including the Department of Veterans Affairs. In 2015, ACSI placed VA among the U.S. government’s “least satisfying departments” with a score of 60 on a 100 scale – 14 points down from 2012.
VA touts patient satisfaction, but its findings are questionable

Re: The Random Political Cartoon Thread

My dad uses VA (including minor cancer treatment) and they seem to work like an average doctor. Though I could see it being maybe a little better in AZ (and FL) with all the old people here.

The crazy guy downtown does better caricatures.
