Former Just-About-Everyone Employee Keith Olbermann will sit in on ABC's "This Week" roundtable this weekend, it was announced Thursday night.

It's his first political gig since being fired by Current TV. (Olbermann subsequently appeared on Letterman)

And, speaking of drivers, Olbermann took to Twitter briefly Thursday night to rebutt some of those jokes.

"Why not just take the subway to work, Keith? Why do you need a car?" Olbermann was asked, to which he replied, "Actually? Employers' insurance on on-air people requires cars. Others like Beck have bodyguards during all movement."

"Helpful hint to @ThisWeekABC: make sure to send a proper limo service to pick up @KeithOlbermann. Smelly drivers need not apply." wrote another. Olbermann wrote back: "I presume you know there were never limos, and the "smelly" incident was fabricated."

I'd want to get picked up in a car in Manhattan too if I were a multimillion dollar anchor (and even if I weren't). Is this supposed to be a knock?

The only knock on Olbermann is that he keeps wearing out his welcome wherever he goes...because he's an ass and impossible to work with from what I've heard.

From what I gather the story wasn't that he wanted a car service but that he was burning through them quickly because they weren't up to his standards. Apparently he went through 8 services in the short time he was there.

If Olberman is saying it, it's a lie. That guy has an aversion to the truth. He's the liberal version of Grundle.

There's a huge difference between Grimde & Olberman. Grundle doesn't have the audience that Olberman had.
