i think karl rove may be the first presidential advisor to actually serve out 2 administrations in the history of the US. I can't remember anyone actually serving out 8 years in one job.

Will *any* move by the admin satisfy the critics of the admin's Iraq policy? Doubtful. If he said "Everyone in Iraq is leaving today on the 10 PM flight", the admin would get criticized for the meal on the plane.
