Things to see and do around the Vegas area...but not in Vegas itself
I have been to Vegas before and am going back next month. I have seen pretty much everything i want to in Vegas itself, and i want to travel around a bit and see if there is anything else thats worth checking out. I have been to the Grand Canyon, Hoover Dam and Monument Valley. Visited Lake Mead briefly as well. I am looking for places of scenic beauty and just places that are interesting. Meeting a friend over there so any suggestions would be appreciated.

(I've mentioned it here before, but IMO it bears repeating. If you're into pinball, it's in the top 5 places to play in the world.) |

Red Rock is a lot of fun if you're into hiking or rock climbing. Valley of Fire is very scenic as well with some nice hikes.
