Bellagio or Palazzo
Looking to spend 2 nights in Vegas for an Anniversary trip.
We usually stay off-strip at one of the resorts but we want to do the strip this time since it's just us and a special occasion. Since it's our anniversary, we will be dining, doing shows, and probably gambling a little less than usual. Based on my wife's preferences, we have narrowed it down to a fountian-view suite at the Bellagio, or a suite at the Palazzo. Anyone with a recommendation based on these facts? I have stayed at neither. I know the Bellagio tends to be a bit pricey in matters beyond the room, but cost aside, which will provide the better overall experience? Ignore show options, as we can easily get around for that. Thanks!

Re: Bellagio or Palazzo
If I had my choice to stay at either I'd go with the Bellagio. I love that fountain. I'd personally think you'd get a good bang for your buck there.

Re: Bellagio or Palazzo
The Bellaggio, to me, seems more romantic. Well, as romantic as Vegas can get.

Bellagio, for the history. Honourable mention for Wynn/Encore.

Re: Bellagio or Palazzo
I stayed at the Bellagio with a fountain view suite last year and I highly recommended.

Re: Bellagio or Palazzo
I've stayed at both, and would recommend the Bellagio.
Location and overall quality on all levels wins @ Bellagio (although the Palazzo was very nice, and done better than the original Venetian).

Re: Bellagio or Palazzo
Can't go wrong with either but I agree that the Bellagio has a better location on the strip.
The Palazzo sportsbook was pretty nice though (at least imho).
