Oops, didn't see the craps thing. Saw roulette but forgot craps don't count. I figure about 30-40 of my points were on craps. I got no problem going back and re-doing these.

I'm not gonna do two accts, btw. This isn't like amazon.com or some shit. They monitor this stuff way too heavily hehe.

Just got off the phone with them.

I asked if I was eligible to cash out now and was wondering about the Craps thing. I said the site said it isn't eligible but the guy immediately cut me off and said "trust me, it is.."

My profits would have been better if some perfect double down situations had gone my way.

I was doing the 2-2-3-5-10 betting method, where each win moves you to the next bet and each loss starts you over at $2 bet. Any loss in the streak still ends you with a couple bucks profit.

Anyway, I got up to the $10 bet a couple times. On two of those I had 11 vs. dealer 6. Doubled and got garbage. And both times the dealer ended up with 20.

Yeah it has been confirmed that craps does count toward WR. I'm assuming as long as you don't only play the pass line.

If you plan on playing Reef, play it on tues Nov 30. BJ Treasure Hunt will net you an extra $25. Check the players club section for more info.

ok, just found this one:

http://www.casinotropez.com/bonus.html#100free

To receive your 100% free play bonus up to $100, you need to make your first single deposit into your account and you will receive this play bonus instantly!

For example:
Deposit $50 get $50 Free - You play with $100
Deposit $100 get $100 Free - You play with $200

Please note that the only deposit that is eligible for this play bonus is your first deposit at the Casino.

The total maximum play bonus that will be given for your first deposit bonus is $100.

This play bonus may not be combined with any other bonus unless otherwise stated.

In the interest of fair gaming in order to cash out any amount of money you must wager at least eight (8) times your play bonus plus deposit. If you withdraw before having reached the minimum wagering requirements, your bonus and winnings will be void.

For example:
Deposit $50 get $50 Free - minimum wager is $800
Deposit $100 get $100 Free - minimum wager is $1600

Bets placed on Baccarat, Craps, Roulette , Sic Bo and all 4-line Video Poker games will be not be counted toward wagering requirements.

Hmm - so that's basically 16x the bonus. Getting up there, but should be still worth doing. If you figure a house edge at 3%, you'll lose $48 on average, so you can figure to walk away ahead about $50.

Yeah, you also have to be careful of three things:

1) "sticky" bonuses -- you deposit $x, they add $y bonus. Wager n times the bonus + requirement.. and then when you cash out, they subtract $y from your total.

2) Some bonus requirements aren't blackjack-eligible

3) Reef Club Casino and Casino-on-Net only required you bet 10x the BONUS amount. Almost all other casinos require you to bet some sort of mulitple of the (bonus + deposit) amount.

Yeah, for a $50 gain though it's almost not worth it. A bad swing of the cards and you could find yourself losing $60-70 or even more.

I have the feeling Tropez is a "sticky bonus"

Deposit $50 get $50 Free - You play with $100

The word "play" IMO could mean that its a sticky.

so its a bonus you can play with, but can't cash out?

if you deposited 50, got 50 sticky, then lost 50...

would you have lost your 50 or their 50?

Hmm .... so a sticky bonus is basically just a buffer then? Probably still a +EV situation, but ... hardly exciting at that level.

A question comes to mind regarding this kind of bonus - what does the playthrough lock? Your deposit money? If I deposit $50, get the $50 sticky bonus, play for awhile and go in the tank, is the deposit withdrawable or is it locked in?

If the deposit is withdrawable anytime, I'd think the proper way to play this sort of bonus would be bet the full amount of the sticky on a single hand of blackjack or pai gow. If you win, you're in business. If you lose, take your deposit money and get out. That would make it enough of a +EV proposition to be worthwhile.

But the bell curve is still going to be well in your favor. The odds of you losing 60-70 are balanced by the odds of you coming out ahead 70-80 (including bonus).

I don't need a sure thing. I just want a situation where the odds are in my favor, and they would be here by a fairly comfortable margin. Assuming, of course, it's not one of those "sticky" bonuses. If it is, then it's probably just not a good enough deal.

There are much better sticky bonuses out there, usually ones at 200%/$200+. The key to winning against these stickies is to bet big. After winning a few you can go back to betting small. Personally I'll stick to regular 100%, < 20x WR.

Keep in mind that Golden Riviera is on the Prima Network. Which means that if you get a bonus at one of the casinos on the network, you can't get bonuses on any other Casino on the prima network.

Do a google search for the Prima Network site to see which casinos are part of the network.

El, unless they have changed policies, or their "casino" policy is different than their poker policy.

I have gotten poker bonuses @ Gaming Club, Royal Vegas, and one or two other prima sites. They never cared if i was a member of others as they are all independantly owned, and even though they are on a "network" they want you playing on THEIR software so they can get the $.
