I'm thinking of going to Vegas in June (probably 18-23) and yes I know it is the start of the "hot as hell" season. A friend is going to get married there and my wife always wanted to go.

Should I wait on looking for flights til later?

So far the best deals I've seen on rooms is the Stratosphere, but my friend will be staying at the Luxor (which if I remember Vegas, is a bit of a haul). Is there somewhere closer that anyone can suggest for a cheap bastard?

Any show suggestions (for a cheap bastard)?

Thanks.

Excalibur is usually one of the cheaper places down strip and it's right next door to the Luxor. Look at booking hotel and flight together via Priceline or www.swavacations.com

Ditto on the Excalibur. Also look at Tropicana or NYNY. All have pretty good rates during summer.

Anyone know how to find out which places give free cover AND drinks to locals/ladies?

Thanks! There was a great site out there but I can't seem to find it.

Staying at the Flaming O in July for $81 a night. As they have a 'best price guarantee' anyone have tips on where I can find lower rates to pricematch?
