Re: What do you drive, and how much MPG do you get?

The Subaru gets around 26 overall, the Mustang between 20-21.

Re: What do you drive, and how much MPG do you get?

2006 Toyota Sequoia, city driving I get ~13, maybe 15-16 for highway. 8-10 when I'm pulling the camper.

This is from my own calculations, I don't trust the car computers (recently did a trip in my wife's Pilot and the computer displayed mpg per tank was about .5-1mpg higher than calculating it the old fashioned way).

Re: What do you drive, and how much MPG do you get?

2015 Dodge Dart, 30 mile one way commute, mixed highway and city miles, and I get anywhere from 27-32MPG on average.

Re: What do you drive, and how much MPG do you get?

2010 Hyundai Sonata. I can easily get around or a touch over 30 mpg if I am going to visit family in Los Angeles, and maybe close to 20 (if I am lucky) for my daily commute...as you can see, I am in Fremont so traffic can create a lot of stop/go driving on and off the freeway, which destroys my mpg average.

I am a big Hyundai fan, and the incredible trunk space along with room for 4 passengers are why I bought her (I really love how much junk she can fit in her trunk).

I have a 2017 Civic hatchback. I love it. I get 39 mpg highway and about 33 mpg in the city. I like the style of the latest version of the civic and the interior. They've stepped up their game a lot since the 2007 model. My wife had that model car for a while. The 2017 model got an A rating at Edmunds.

I liked my 2012 Ford Focus until the Tranny blew twice on me in 6 months. There's actually a class action lawsuit on for that one. It did get great gas mileage. I had about the same numbers as you.

With the long gas lines here in Dallas made me "sort of" regret no putting that deposit down on the new one. I was working in Columbus and there was a dealer in the mall right a cross from hotel I was in. The dude almost had me talked into, but I had just bought my Wrangler (first time owning a car in 15+ years) so thought was silly.

Tho still toying with the idea. Or maybe that little A3

All right, this isn't Penthouse Forum--try to keep it clean here.

Re: What do you drive, and how much MPG do you get?

We just finished a road trip in our 1994 Buick Roadmaster station wagon. Driving up and down mountains at 70-80 mph, we still got above 20 mpg.

I'm surprised that a 23 year old V8-powered land yacht is getting comparable mileage to some of new cars here.

Mine's still under warranty and they've replaced it once. It's a pain in the ass but I love the car too much to give it up.

Re: What do you drive, and how much MPG do you get?

2012 Toyota Highlander. Gets anywhere between 20 and 23 mpg. I'd say it's pretty equally split between city and hwy.

It's a little monster in the snow and is surprisingly roomy inside. All in all I'm happy with it even though it looks like it's one step above a minivan.

I used to own a 2008 Frontier. I loved the hell out of it but was only getting about 18 mpg when I worked approximately 18 miles away from my house. This was when gas was about $4 a gallon. That coupled with the fact that I paid $2 to park at work a day and I was paying $10 a day just to drive to work.

Had to give my Frontier up for that reason but miss it a lot.

2010 Honda Fit, I average about 29 MPG but most of my driving is in town, on the interstate I'll average about 40

You did better with your Frontier than I did! I had a 2007 4 door long bed, and I got about 14 in the city, maybe 16 hwy. But I downgraded (mpg wise) with the Sequoia I have now, but it pulls the camper better, and is a beast in the snow (I like the Highlanders too, great Colorado car, but it wouldn't pull my camper).

Re: What do you drive, and how much MPG do you get?

2013 Hyundai Sonata

Almost exclusively city driving, and I average about 21 mpg. I notice that if my teenage son has borrowed the car, it goes up a bit - I think he's a bit lighter on the pedal than I am.

Did your Highlanders feel too weak to pull a trailer? I'm giving some thought to buying a pop-up camper trailer and feel my Highlander could probably pull it with no problem. I hope I'm not wrong.

Re: What do you drive, and how much MPG do you get?

Primary vehicle is a 2011 Suzuki Dl-650 Motorcycle, mid 50's MPG. It has dropped to upper 30's when at on Interstate at speed into a strong headwind however. I've kept track of every fill-up at Fuelly.com since I bought it new. I also have a Saturn Ion that's generally low to mid 30's but I put about 1000 miles a year on it.

Same vehicle, but I didn't know what MPG it got. Now I do. My wife is the primary driver of this, since it fits the 2 car seats.

I drive a 2010 Subaru Impreza. With a suburb commute, and general driving around, it gets about 27 MPG.
