Did someone say Volcano sauce? When? I'm there.

I really want Wendy's to bring back the ghost pepper fries and fresca chicken sandwich. It was around this time last year.

It was just one of the funniest damned things I ever saw here ... Don't know why, but I just found it hysterical.

I am pretty certain that was two years ago, not one.

PDQ chicken strips are pretty damn good. A bit small, though. I really like their sweet chipotle sauce.

Tried the Caramel M&M's. Not my favorite variety of M&M's. The caramel is more chewy rather than creamy like in a Carmello or something.

If you haven't had it yet, the limited time Chick-fil-a Frozen Strawberry Lemonade ends very soon and is awesome!

Looks like a shake - is it?
I'd go get one now, for this heat - but it's a Sunday, so they're closed!

It's not exactly like a shake, but similar. More like something in between a shake and a smoothie. They always have frozen lemonade on the menu, which is their fresh squeezed lemonade mixed with their ice dream. This is the same thing with real strawberries (and possibly some strawberry juice or natural flavoring...not sure) mixed in. It's a nice mix of sweet and tart with a creamy texture.

I wasn't a fan of their Frosted Lemonade so I skipped the strawberry one, definitely dig their Frosted Coffees though.

Re: The Fast Food Junkie Thread

McDonald's is dropping the classic orange Hi-C and replacing it with Sprite TropicBerry.

Local newspaper link: http://www.mcdonoughvoice.com/zz/sha...pular-beverage

I've never heard of Sprite TropicBerry. Is this going to be some rare exclusive like that one Mountain Dew at Taco Bell?

Yeah, I finally tried some the other day and thought the same thing. I was disappointed, I prefer caramel that's creamy rather than chewy. Didn't stop me from finishing the bag though.

Mine were better after they sat in my warm car for a little while.

Tread lightly with the soda talk.

I like the Hi-C. One of the few things I do like at McDs. I have no interest in fruity Sprite.

Re: The Fast Food Junkie Thread

Yeah, I figured it is more of a McDonalds topic than a soda topic.

Certainly a better fit than M&Ms.

(Edited original post to clarify the comparison to Taco Bell's Mountain Dew.)

Re: The Fast Food Junkie Thread

I was craving McDonald's -- hadn't had it in months and got me some fries and a double-double. I saw that that they have a new hot sauce called "Mexican Salsa" in packets. I was almost going to dismiss it as rubbish but I used it as a dipping sauce and it was pretty damn good -- and had some kick to it, to.

Re: The Fast Food Junkie Thread

They have the salsa packets with their little breakfast burritos. It's pretty tasty.

Re: The Fast Food Junkie Thread

Since most of those packets tend to have high fructose corn syrup I was surprised this did not. In fact, the first 2 ingredients were water and jalapeņos. It's spicy.
