Its no surprise its over a thousand calories, and that would be an insane amount of sodium to eat at once.
That nutrition info is for the regular Meat Mountain. The sandwich in Joey's review is for the Denali Meat Mountan which adds a deep fried fish fillet. So you're looking at another 300-400 calories.

I noticed that your right. I think it would be gross if you add the fish with it. If I were to buy it I think I would take it and make at least 3 sandwiches out of it.

Yeah, that looks like at least two full meals for me. Depending on the price, I'm in!

But then all that extra bread would make it even worse for you.

Re: The Fast Food Junkie Thread

I had the meat mountain last week. It was quite large, and honestly pretty tasty. They charged $10 for it which, by what Arbys charges for a regular sandwich, was fairly reasonable. It is really filling.

Alright you fat fucks, they just started selling this today.

I'm gonna get it tomorrow, or Saturday for breakfast and report back, if I'm not in an actual coma after eating it!

Re: The Fast Food Junkie Thread

So I went ahead and had that Huevos Rancheros Epic Burrito this morning.

And... it was fucking awesome!

Seriously, easily the best fast food breakfast burrito on the market, maybe even best fast food burrito, period.

Except for the size, there's really nothing too outrageous about it. Chorizo, eggs, cheese, beans, avocado, sauce, tortilla. But it is BIG. So have it when you know you're not going to have lunch, like I did. I wasn't hungry the rest of the day, and just had a very small, light dinner.

Highly recommended!

Thanks for the recommendation, I know you can vouch for Del Taco. Hardly ever eat breakfast out, once or twice a year, if that, but this burrito sounds delicious, and would probably tide me over for the entire day. And, it is good to see that Del Taco is maintaining its quality, unlike most other FF franchises, which have gone to the dogs recently.

My closest Del Taco is 30 miles away.

And always get this thread mixed up with the damn Top Five thread.

I went to Del at 11 on Saturday morning... They told me that I couldn't buy breakfast because it ends at 11. Fuckers.

I go to Burger King for crossanwiches from time to time, if I show up after 10:10 AM odds are they'll say "No, we're serving lunch."

Their posted time is 10:30 AM. They're assholes.

Ah, it's only for breakfast. Good to know. I wish they would be like Jack in the Box and serve the full menu 24 hours a day.

In a move that appears aimed at taking on the quality movement sweeping fast food, McDonald's announced Thursday that it will start making one of its signature hamburgers, the Quarter Pounder, with fresh beef patties.

The changeover from frozen beef will begin starting in the middle of next year in a majority of its U.S. restaurants. McDonald's is nation's largest fast-food chain.

In making the move, McDonald's provides pushback to chains like Wendy's and In-N-Out which have been promoting their use of fresh beef for better-tasting burgers. Even though fresh beef will make its burgers more premium, McDonald's vows to hold the line on price.

"We don’t anticipate any significant increase in price," said spokeswoman Becca Hary. "Individual franchisees set their own price."

Fresh beef had been tested in 325 restaurants in the Dallas-Fort Worth area and 77 restaurants in Tulsa, Okla. , which McDonald's said was a customer-led initiative.

McDonald's investors reacted positively. The chain's shares were trading at $129.35,up 57 cents, at midday.

Quarter Pounder burgers include the Quarter Pounder, Quarter Pounder with Cheese, Double Quarter Pounder with Cheese, the Quarter Pounder with Cheese Deluxe and Signature Crafted Recipe burgers. The fresh-beef initiative is yet to come to other McDonald's burgers like the Big Mac and McDouble.

Restaurants in Alaska and Hawaii aren't making the switch, because of the distance and the logistics involved in shipping there, according to Hary.

“Today’s announcement is part of a continuing food journey for McDonald’s,” McDonald’s USA president Chris Kempczinski said in a statement. “Over the last two years, we have accelerated the pace of change around how we source and serve our food. Delivering fresh beef that’s prepared when our customers order their food is just another example of how we are raising the bar. We’re just getting started, and can’t wait to show you what’s next.”

Re: The Fast Food Junkie Thread

No Del Taco locations near me.

Had this at Torchy's yesterday. Chicken, waffle, egg, bacon, and maple syrup.

It was damn good, but too much for a single taco. I split it into two and put half of it onto a corn tortilla.

Maybe I mentioned this before, but what the heck happened to Arby's prices? I remember getting like 4 for 5 roast beef sandwiches back in the day, and now it's like double that even with coupons.

Ahh the good old days. I remember that fondly too. Back in college, I would eat two the first night put the others in the fridge and warm them up the next night in the oven. I thought I was living the life.

Yay! $8 for a quarter pounder! But... BUT.. It's higher quality!
