Student hit by bus, survives (video)

Holy shit!

From YouTube uploader:
No buses present in this video were fatally injured. The driver's future though...another story (He ran a red light). http://www.statesman.com/blogs/conte...blotter/entrie...

The student, Nick, is fine and was released from the hospital around 3:45PM the same day, May 4th, 2012. I also feel the need to clarify the situation to those unfamiliar with the roads around UT campus. This sword fight took place on Guadalupe St just in front of the Co-op. The "crosswalk", is understood to be the entire area in between the two lights.

He was wearing an Obama mask

It's pretty difficult to NOT see a black bus coming at you. But then again, maybe you have to obtain a 4-year degree to have such advanced knowledge.

So do we know for sure the bus ran a red light? Positive the guy didn't jump the gun a bit? He wasn't paying the least bit attention to his surroundings.

I got the impression that the two groups of people were going to run at each other Lord of the Rings style when their light turned green. Interesting that he was the only one out of 100 people that ran into the street. Maybe he was guilty of a false start.

Yeah, from the video it seems like the guy was the one being dumb and the only one out there.

Even if the driver ran a red light it seems Nick was in a pretty big damn hurry to cross that street. The name of the video is awesome and the sound when Nick meets the bus is brutal.
