Re: Best Craigslist ad ever?
The guy with the trains and imitation crab meat is still my favorite, but this one is hilarious.

I still can't get over the guy claiming he's 48. He looks like 65.

Blown head gasket and all, I wanna buy this car just so I can drive it off a cliff with every woman in the world piled into it, like "Thelma and Louise."

Ah, a fellow dweller of Snohomish County, WA. If I ever sell my car, I'll ask him for a write up.

Re: Best Craigslist ad ever?
I was selling a 2002 Ford Crown Victoria on Craigslist and I wrote a "funny description" that quoted the Blues Brothers. All the stuff about it having "cop shocks, cop motor, etc". Despite how "hip" the Craigslist crowd is supposed to be I don't think anybody got the joke. After re-listing it three times with the Blues Brothers jokes I took the jokes out and the car sold in 2 days. The jokes scared buyers off.
Then again this guy is selling a 15 year old car for $700 |

Re: Best Craigslist ad ever?
found this funny for some reason:
Is it time to take down the tree yet? - m4m - 45 Do you have your Xmas tree still up? Do you need help taking it down or wrapping decorations and putting them away? I can help you with all of that while I'm Naked. Maybe you need to put things away that require a ladder, I can help with that as well. If your interested, tell me where your located and what you need done.
