Recommend a casual place to eat by the Javits Center

Heading to the NY Auto show Sunday 04/15/12. Need a place with great food, but allows sneakers.

There was an Irish pub on the corner of 33rd and 10th but I have not been there in a few years. It may not be there anymore but it was good and cheap and had a nice bar.

This. Can't remember the name of it but not too far away. Ate/drank there every lunch I was there for a show.

I think I remember stopping at a Burger King a few blocks away. And there was a pizza cart right outside. Other than that, it seemed as close to the middle of nowhere as you can get in Manhattan.

The Theater District Shake Shack is probably the least packed consistently as I can usually get food within 10-15 minutes. Seating can be an issue if by yourself; if not, one person goes to the line, the other finds spots to sit in.

I miss it.

Ive never had a problem with the one on the UWS but thats an even farther walk

Hallo Berlin, 10th Ave around 44th St. Great German food and draft beer, outdoor seating in back (weather is gonna be nice!). Pretty short walk, casual, and tasty.

There's also a McDonald's on like 10th Avenue and 34th Street. They even have a drive-thru!
