I like the olive oil Kraft stuff too, but don't eat very much of it.

I love mayo, but never buy it because I'd eat it.

I'm an avocado guy as well. If it's ripe, I prefer it over just about anything.

My parents used Miracle Whip but I rarely ate it as a child. As an adult I prefer mayonnaise over Miracle Whip.

Canned pears, right? My Mom used to serve that. Sometimes with cottage cheese.

It tasted okay, but the texture was weird.

Not really. 1/5 of an avocado has 4.5 grams of fat. 1 tablespoon of mayo has 10 grams. Depending on how much you use, I'd say that's less than half the fat of mayo.

I love both, and have found the light and non-fat varieties of each to taste as good as the originals. Also enjoy various mayo-based or similar sandwich spreads, particularly horseradish-based ones.

To be honest, it's not just the taste I like, think I just want my food of any variety to be "wet".
