Hrm, I suppose that's true, but for a lot of friends, it was just that we had lost contact. I also moved around quite a bit when I was younger - almost every single year for 7-8 years.

What I find interesting is that the original joke simply will not work with anyone but a White woman of some sort as the racist.

It almost works with a princess from Dubai, but not as well.

But, the whole thing falls down, and should never be believed to be a true story when you realize that the snotty woman would have had a first class seat to start with, so the punch line doesn't work.
