When I was a kid in upstate NY we played a lot of minor hockey games in Canada, and it was a BIG deal for us that we got our Coffee Crisp candy bar at some point in the trip.

I also saw a shout-out to Ritter earlier. In Hong Kong there was a supermarket that had European candy and I'd buy their sampler pack, which had lots of mini four-squared ones. I'd have one each night for dinner.

For me, the best mass-market chocolate candy bar I've ever had was this:

Reese's Peanut Butter & Banana Creme.

My favorite chocolate is by Josophan's, which operates a small shop in the Blue Mountains about an hour outside of Sydney.

Their fresh lime and basil chocolate is my favorite and is the first basil/lime chocolate that tastes like the ingredient itself, not just like a flavor of their ingredient.

They run workshops, which I might attend.

I honestly do not care for candy bars much and other than the occasionally mini out of a candy jar, I haven't had one in years. I'll eat junk food like a motherfucker, just not candy bars.

However, if I was gonna eat one it would either be a Payday or a Reeses Fast Break (if they still make those).
