Re: Post your off-brand batteries!

The 99 cents store always have 5 packs of Sunbeam batteries for a dollar. They're not terrible for like remotes.

Re: Post your off-brand batteries!

I told myself I would never post in a "post your off-brand batteries" thread.

Yet here I am...and I got nothing.

I guess I'm heading back over to the "forum rule change" thread to see who is currently handing dvdjunkie his ass.

Re: Post your off-brand batteries!

I don't I've kept any off brand batteries. The closest thing are the batteries that came with my radio controlled Daleks. The batteries, like the toys, are from the UK.

Re: Post your off-brand batteries!

I use generic Chinese 18650 LiIon cells in the various bike lights I own, they're awesome. Here's a particularly great comedy name:

That could be a cool name for a rock band (with one small change):

"Uranus on Fire" - sponsored by Taco Bell

Whenever I get something that comes with these shitty batteries, I throw them out and put Duracell in.

Of course, we should only use the best batteries in things that really mean something, like toys and vibrators.
The local sex shop actually recommends generic batteries over name brands for battery powered devices, interestingly enough.

Re: Post your off-brand batteries!

I usually keep a supply of JobSmart Alkaline Batteries from Tractor Supply. 5 or 6 dollars for 24 AA or 30 AAA when they are on sale

Yep, I have a Kit Cat clock (don't judge!) and a pair of Duracell\Energizer C batteries lasts around 50 weeks at a cost of 12¢/week. Dollar Tree's Sunbeam brand lasts 40 weeks and costs around 3¢/week.

Do Amazon Basics count? I have way too many AAAs. Or maybe AAs, I don't remember.

I'm in need of a laugh and this thread delivered. Never read it before ...

Although FlySnowLeopard sounds pretty badass ...

I'm voting for the "Misucell." Who the hell wants to use batteries the way they were intended to be used?!

"Dian Wei" sounds like a designer label.
