They were called Burger Buddies. The breakfast version, the Breakfast Buddy (with sausage, egg, and cheese) was a staple of my very young youth on Sunday mornings.

Oddly enough I saw a huge stack of these in the toy department at, I believe it was at Walmart, the other day. I couldn't believe it. They looked exactly like they did years ago.

Re: Products gone but not forgotten

I would say Diet Mountain Dew Ultraviolet since it's been discontinued, but I managed to find a case or two at Wal-Mart in Mississippi while I was there for training.

I cry a berry flavored tear* each time I crack open one, since I'm running out.

*The product was discontinued for causing berry flavored eye leakage.

I'm not sure if I posted this before, but I have to mention it again.

The baked apple pies pale in comparison and every subsitute I've ever eaten doesn't touch the old school McDonald's fried apple pies.

Wispa candy bars used to be available here in MA when I was growing up. It didn't last very long though. From what I can tell, they were re-launched and are still available in some parts of the world but it's been many years since I've seen any here. It was always my candy of choice.

Apparently they stopped producing it in March. So whatever is left out there will be it. Cherry has taken over as their secondary flavor now. I haven't seen it around here since early summer.

Hey for whoever posted about missing O'Boisies Potato Crisps, they re-introduced them a few months back (along with Tato Skins, which have been back for awhile now). I believe a smaller company bought the factory (or equipment, at least) that Keebler originally used to make them. Anyway, you can find both of them at local dollar stores, more often than not.

As for the stuff I miss:

Ice Cream Cones Cereal (re-introduced a few years back, for a limited time)

Hydrox Cookies (re-introduced last year, but they're gone again)

Peanut Butter Boppers

S'Mores Crunch Cereal

Rocky Road Cereal

No I have talked ever remembers this but Choco-chill. My mom used to get it at Fedmart waaaaay back in the early to mid 70's.

It was a chocolate powder you mixed with water....basically instant YooHoo!

I loved that stuff.

This is the only reference on the danged world wide web I can find!

How I miss that. I wonder if it is in my attic, buried away. When I played it in the basement we had a texture stick-it tile floor which added a new skill level in shooting the discs.
