Kennedy? You might as well do an impression of Abe Lincoln, who knows WTF Kennedy sounds like? Anyone who does a horrible Christopher Walken could get away with Kennedy without being called out.

Fred starred in several specials for CBN/Family Channel in the late 80's, when it was owned by The Christian Broadcasting Network. He would appear in elaborate make-up as the celebrities he was imitating, often acting "with
himself" through intercutting or split screen/chromakey.

One impression that surprised me was Fred playing Jesse Jackson, complete with brown makeup (!) to color his skin. In a presidential debate sketch, "Jackson" would use rhymes to emphasize his point. At one point, he was stumped and said, "We need jobs, not ... shishkabobs!"

I think ol' Fred proved that it is, indeed.

Yeah, everyone knows there weren't any kinds of recording devices way back in the 60's.

In the 70's they were big. They even got a t.v. show called THE COPY CATS.
The main and only reason I liked watching these acts was to see old greats again. They would do W.C. FIELDS, ABBOTT & COSTELLO, etc.
Today there really isn't a need since we have a lot to entertain ourseleves with. If I wanna see a certain star I can pop the dvd or go online. Where in the past we had to wait for their movie to be shown on t.v. and hope we were home to watch it.
