CNN was reporting how an un-named source told them the condition of MJ's body - lily white from head to toe, bald, and totally emaciated (sp?).

I just finished watching it. The memorial was very tastefully done. We would be lucky to have that kind of tribute. If they haven't already held one, I'm sure there will be a private memorial for just family and friends.

I check out on ebay and the prices on Michael Jackson Funeral Memorial brochure are going up skyrocket crazy. I saw one selling for $20,000.

I saw it 'LIVE' earlier today but just now finished playing it for Treesa, and we couldn't agree more. We felt so sad throughout, but when Paris said her part, we we're crying like babies.

^No, it didn't feel like a 'speech' at all really. She just expressed her love for her dad. Especially well done in front of thousands of people and broadcast to millions.

I was disappointed in those "presenters" who read their memories of Jackson from prepared scripted pages such as Queen Litifah and Brooke Shields. What a great way to speak from your heart.

On the other hand, I'm no great fan of Magic Johnson, but applaud the man for standing there sans papers and just speaking what he felt.

At the time I didn't, but rewatching it several times I think I might agree with you. I know I'll sound like a cynic to most, but I'd imagine that most 11 year olds standing on a stage in front of thousands of people would be very nervous and could easily choke up and break down in tears no matter what they say.

I was at work all day dealing with coverage of the memorial and that moment made me lose it. Just brutal. Made some of the silly comments from some of the speakers come back into focus.
