Re: Michael Jackson to hospital in cardiac arrest (Dead)

He may have not been the best guy in the world, but he did make some truly great music in the 70's and 80's and even early 90's, and he was recognizable the world round. I will inaugurate my new record player with Thriller in his memory.

sadly, TMZ seems to be ahead of the curve when it comes to these types of things.

Exactly. The other sites are just typing up a fancy article while TMZ just gives the facts.

I think the other outlets are confirming it, rather than running with what a random nurse called in.

If he was found dead-why would he be rushed to the hospital?

If you were in an ambulance with a dead Michael Jackson, wouldn't you rush?

Agreed. I don't know what allegations were ever actually proved, and he apparently had a rough childhood (not that that excuses anything), and he definitely got really freaky, but he was still a heck of an entertainer.
I remember the hype and attention for the Thriller video when it first aired.
Society might not feel the loss, but music will.

CNN is saying he was treated and transferred...so DOA sounds fishy to me.

How does somebody so broke afford a $100,000 per month house rental?

that's awfully vague. being a coma could be you are on a respirator and pretty much dead, outside of having a machine breathing for you.

The way I read it, he was treated at the scene by LAFD paramedics, then transferred to the hospital. So, no different than we've already heard.

Well, ok. But you're not "dead," so I'm going to wait until an actual news source confirms this.

EDIT: And...the LA Times is saying he's dead as well.
