Car People: Tire shine. What do you use?

I'm always looking for this and that for car care. I'm just curious what everyone uses now for tire shine. It's hard to find anything that doesn't sling, even after sitting overnight. I keep going back to Armor All Tire Foam. It's cheap and seems to work well on clean dry tires.

So what's everyone's favorite?

Re: Car People: Tire shine. What do you use?

I'm very interested in this as well.. I can't find any that doesn't sling and my truck wheels stick out a hair past the body so I get mad sling!

Hope someone has a good solution!

Black Magic for me. Looks great and I've never noticed a 'sling' problem. Of course it barely lasts a day or so.

Re: Car People: Tire shine. What do you use?

key with any product is to apply just enough. this will help somewhat. i've used a variety of products, and found that aerospace 303 is the best, but honestly, everyone likes different stuff. i like it because it's not too glossy, not too greasy, and usually lasts a while. but it's quite pricey.

Interesting. Either I've never noticed it or our local places don't carry it. I'll do some googling.

Another vote for Meguiars. Stuff stays on forever, even in the Florida weather.

I've seen that. I've used another brand of high gloss tire shine, but it stayed on as long as the vehicle sat still

I've always liked Meguiars' stuff. I always use their Gold Class Wax/Polish.

I also second Meguiars. Most of their products are good. I use their Gold Class wax for my black Acura and that stuff is great for a quick wash and wax.

I've never heard of using Aerospace 303 as tire shine. I use it on the interior of my car (leather seats, dash, anything plastic). I really couldn't see it lasting that long on the tires compared to Meguiars or regular tire shine.

Black Magic for me. No sling and it stays on my tires a decent amount of time.

For those pimping the Black Magic... Which product? They have like 7.. I've used their foam before and it does kick ass but it also has mad sling!

Quote:
303 treated tires have the rich, waxy, almost vinyl-like, dark black look of new rubber. 303 tires look and feel like brand new, not greasy new. For Maximum Tire Beauty: Spray 303 Aerospace Protectant directly on a clean and dry tire until the sidewall is thoroughly wet with 303. Without touching the rubber, easily wipe any 303 overspray from the rim. Do each tire the same way. After 10-20 minutes, wipe around each tire once or twice with a dry rag to pick up unabsorbed 303. Your tires will have the look and feel of fresh new rubber.
they talk about using 303 on tires here:

http://www.303products.com/techinfo/tires1.htm

keep in mind 303 will not make the tires glossy and greasy like other stuff. i use 303 for everyday usage, if i want it extra glossy i use meguiars tire shine gel.

I use Wet N Black tire gel by Turtle Wax. It's ok, I'm interested in Meguiars.

I've been using Adam's with good luck. It doesn't have that oily shine look.
