Forgot that the majority of the show is now just set up to stage bits for HTV.

If you want to get on the air all you have to do is call in and say "I love that Howard TV".

Also Howard now says "I got to tell yah" anytime he starts a story, or voices an opinion.

I remember one they showed of a girl blowing out candles and popping ping-pong balls across the room...and she didn't use her mouth.

Seriously, has he lost any edge? I remember half the fun of listening to Howard in the 90s was the fact that half of Hollywood and pretty much all of the mainstream media hated him. He was the outlaw and flaunted it. Does the show still have teeth? And I don't mean an endless parade of bimbo porn stars.

agreed. i've listened to every o&a show since they have been on xm and every r&f show for the the past year or so... I kind of want to take a break, but I feel like I'm going to miss something great.

It's not even about feeling like I'm going to miss something great. When listening to Ron and Fez I feel like I'm hanging out with friends. These are people I could enjoy hanging around with in real life. O&A is a funny show, but it gets repetitive. I hop on and off the train, same as I did with Howard.

With Ron and Fez I never feel like hopping off. Plus I love that Ron and Fez seem to hoard all their commercial breaks until the end. Until people started complaining that they were going off the air at 2:40. I do not understand how people could be so stupid that they don't realize the time on the air is the same, you just have less commercials to skip through in the middle.

When I had Sirius I listened to Howard less then I thought I would. I am opposite of most I liked Howard when he wasn't doing bits or having a bunch of guests. When he talked about everyday stuff with the rest of the crew it was much better

My sub ran out in July and I bought a new car and haven't installed the Sirius yet and I miss listening to Howard big time.

Lately, after the Times article, all I ever hear is how he single handedly killed all of terrestrial radio. NBC, ABC, all selling station because he left.

I find myself switching over to music much more frequently.

Is it just me or are they taking more and more commercial breaks now?
I am listening to my backlogged recordings from mid-November still, but it seems like after the 1-hour mark break they start taking them every 30 minutes.

Yeah. I've noticed it. But I think the Stern show may be the only income for the company at this point.

Slightly more commercials, but they are getting better sponsors, too. Name brand products and movies, not just sphinctereen and ashley madison anymore.

I'm pretty sure this show had sisters kissing at one time, but has it ever had a mother and daughter kissing?

The sisters kissing episode was hilarious. I have never found a free password to that site even though I never forgot the name.

There was one where moms and daughters undressed each other, and the moms made out with one another and so did the daughters. Of course, none of them were really anything to look at.

I was reminded was has been annoying me the most lately. I listen on the way home, just after 5 p.m., and the replay is just finishing with Robin's news.

This is so annoying!

Robin: Angelina Jolie says it was hard filming her last movie, 2-3
Howard plays clip 2-3
Angelina: It was hard filming my last movie.

Every freaking "news" bulletin, she just reads a transcription.

She is a cackling, shrill, talentless hack with an overinflated sense of self-worth. But that's just my impression.

I have only had Stern since he came to Sirius.

In September I started a job where I an in the car shortly after 5 , routinely catching the end of the replay. So I have only hear it for a few months, and it is already enough to make me turn the channel.

I think Stern is a lot like Thanksgiving dinner. It is good on occasion, but you would be tired of having it every day.

Before it was a novelty to me. Now I am finding I have had enough for a while.

I listen to every show, every day, from start to finish.

Still loving Howard, but mostly for some of the insanely funny bits Sal & Richard are coming up with. Anytime Richard is doing his "Ethel" character, I am in stitches.

The caliber of guests has dropped noticeably, but honestly thats fine by me... the show's always better when they are chatting with each other and doing bits, rather than when, say, Julia Roberts or Tobey Maguire are stopping by.

And ERIC THE MIDGET?? Pure comedy gold. That grumpy little fucker always brightens my day.
