Adam Corolla - funny or not funny?
I remember when I first saw this guy on Loveline and I thought he wasn't funny and was quite annoying.
Then I saw him on The Man Show and I generally liked the guy. I wasn't sure if he was truly funny or not because it was mostly a gag-filled show with prop humor. Now when I hear him on Bill Simmon's podcasts I think he is a comedic genius that I could listen to for hours. I don't get to hear his radio show so I don't know how good it is. To those who hear his radio show - funny or not funny? |

Adam's morning show is awesome. I listen every morning when I'm on my way home from work. The crew has great chemistry and Adam has more room to go off on his rants. I loved him on Loveline; but let's be honest, now that he's gone, Dr Dru helps far more people since he doesn't have to sit through Adam's signature rants for 20 minutes per call.
Adam leaving Loveline and getting his own show gave us 2 great shows.

Haven't heard his morning show yet but I cringe every time the tv commercial is on for it.
Laughing hysterically while listening to himself on the radio and saying "This guy's the best!" gets a bit annoying after a couple times. |

I pay for Sirius partly for Stern, but I enjoy Adam Corolla much, much more. There are days when I only listen to Stern during Adam's commercials.

I listen to both Adam and Howard Stern every day. I have to say that more and more I've found Adam to be funnier than Stern. Though I could care less for some of his "bits", and I never listen to his sports interviews, His rants seem to come across as more honest than Stern does.
