Is there any post-cereal milk that isn't good?
Quick question, is there any cereal milk that isn't any good?
Most times after I eat my cereal, I drink the milk. Most times, it's pretty good to great. Any cereal that is just awful?

Probably not. I put box cereal in the same category as cookies, cakes, rolls and breads. Hard to find one that sucks.

I don't drink the leftover milk. It contains the crumbs and sugar.

I believe the "Crunchy Fruit Guan-O's" leftover milk would be pretty nasty...
Maybe cereal with breast milk? Hello? is this thing on?

Seriously. Who has time to pour and eat a bowl of cereal? Just grab a pre-packaged jug from fridge of Fruity Pepples or Boo Berry flavored milk and go!
Brilliant. |

I never was a big fan of that.

Fiber-One, it's like drinking milk that had cardboard soaking in it. I had a free sample of the cereal and regret trying it.

Grape Nuts. They've NEVER been good. I think people eat them to stay 'regular' or something.

Care to elaborate your bewilderment?
1. Cereal usually makes milk taste better. 2. Is there a cereal you can think of that doesn't? I can't think of one off the top of my head.

Drinking milk after the cereal is a real pet peeve of mine. My wife does it all the time and I can't stand it. I think you just look silly picking up a huge bowl and sucking down that nasty, sugary milk. Get a glass if you want some milk.

Why waste all that sugary goodness?
Barbie Island Princess cereal turns the milk a nice purple color, and adds a tangy artificial berry flavor. |

HATE post-cereal milk! I have milk-pouring down to a science. I pour exactly the amount needed so there is none left in the bowl when the cereal is gone. Just the thought of drinking that stuff makes me want to gag.

not me. I like to cover my cereal with the milk just that is slightly covers all of it hence my tendency to eat flake type cereal since it doesn't float as much but because I've been eating honey nut cheerios lately it doesn't work quite well with those so I end up with a lot more milk on my bowl. why waste all that delicious sweet milk?

Haven't you ever had a frozen pizza that was a little past it's prime leave ice on the cardboard disc? The disc doesn't always dry by the time the pizza is done so there's some wet cardboard, then the cheese sticks and I usually end up eating some cardboard. |

Now, I grasp that this cereal wasn't the best idea in the first place. I was in college, and health wasn't really one of my first priorities. This looked interesting one night, while I was rolling through the grocery store drunk.
![]() The cereal itself was a bit below average, and entirely too sweet, even when waking up half-drunk or hungover. However, the milk afterward was horrible. It was almost like drinking pure sugar. The cereal itself kind of masked just how much sugar was on these things, but the milk made it incredibly obvious. It was great as a dry snack, though. |
