Thats right when you move residences, whatever, renting, condo, house, your moms basement, jail, whatever, when you move stuff, it gets broken/scratched/dented...thats just the way it is. Even if you are using friends, and not a moving company, or vise versa, things happen. Don't worry about it, IMO everything is fine, it just happens.

Isn't that the best way of approaching life? I've been dented and scratched quite a bit, but don't complain much. Thankfully none of this has been done by two hairy, burly moving men.

Exactly. Things only get broken, scratched or dented if you are cheap or lazy. There are plenty of safe ways to move.

LOL not me....I moved just fine.

A newly married couple, just bought there first place, (or first place together) down 2-3 units from mine on the top floor. Bickering ALL the time they were moving in the other day. The overall bitching, I think, was the OP's point. I'm inclined to agree. Bitching has become the rule rather than the exception. And today's bitching is done unnecessarily loudly. The bitch below should have called the moving company and calmly explained the casualties of the move. That way, it remains complaining, and never ventures into the realm of bitching.
