Do you try to park straight in your space in parking lots?
I actually work at parking our little Matrix as straight as I can to make sure those who park around me will have ample room to get in or out of their space with ease and hopefully NOT hit or ding up our car in the process.
Earlier today I went to CVS to get some munchie junk, and upon returning to the car, I found this: ![]() ![]() ![]() Now I can drive fairly well, and sure, there was no real emergency here, but with all respect, what is it with folks that park like that anyway? (...and no, it wasn't that dude in the center picture! He actually made a comment on what a jerk the person was that parked that way.)-THEEKSAKE! ![]() Last edited by The Edit King; 01-25-08 at 11:36 PM. |

That car gets a door dingy for sure. Although, it was just that back end, I might let it slide. I hate bad parkers.

I think the best thing to do in a situation like that is to wait out there for them to return, and then beat the hell out of them. Solved.

If I roll into a parking lot and someone's parked right on the line I'll park perfectly between the lines, but I push it as to how close I can get to their vehicle. Sometimes if it's a good one, I tell my passenger to get out, because once I'm parked there's no way my door will open and there's no way THEIR door will open too. MWA-HA-HA-HAHAHAHA
I hate inconsiderate drivers. |

That kind of parking beside me would earn a nasty loogie... Of course, it's raining in those pics, so it would be somewhat ineffective.

So it would appear the idiot parker went down the row the wrong way? Looks like the spaces are angled. So turning into it from the wrong direction results in the crooked park job. What a moran. Probably trying to beat someone to the spot.
BTW, funny that you blacked out your plate but not the offender. Nice touch. |

When I had a car, I tried to park straight, but I also try to park as far away from everyone as I can. I'm usually the car way in the back of the parking lot.

Too bad the space next to him was occupied, otherwise I would have rounded up some shopping carts and put them right next to his door.

100% agreed. I often hock a major luger on the windshield in a case like this, but since it was raining I'm not sure what your recourse could have been. It does piss me off, even moreso when some douchebag in a huge truck does it.

The thing I hate more than anything is when I get back to my car after a long day at work and find that some douchebag has parked two inches from my driver's side door. There have actually been a couple of times when I've had to climb into my car from the passenger side.

That drives me completely insane. It is not hard to get your car in-between the lines.
![]() It is too nice to just let the air out of one (or two) of their tire(s). ![]() I carry a valve core remover in my car, if you know what that is, you know what I do with it ![]() |

Yeah, I absolutely hate people that park like that. "Hey, I'm in a spot and parked, so who gives a shit if those around me can't park." It's especially upsetting at a place like my college, where there's limited parking, and there are so many assholes taking up two spots with their crappy parking jobs.
