A friend of mine tried to get me to sign up to sell this stuff.

He claims he makes at least $1000 a month from it, for only a few hours of work a month.

I told him I refuse to lie to people to get money from them.

I don't think we are friends any more.

Wow, what a load of crap.

They try to imply that there was some sort of unexplained miraculous burst of light and that it was mysterious that there was no crater. But it's all easily explainable. The comet, asteroid or meteor exploded 3-6 miles above the surface which was why there was no crater. Also, the fact that the area recovered is remarkably unremarkable. That is what happens after an event such as this. The earth, and life, are much more resilient than they are typically given credit for. The area around Mt. St. Helens has recovered quite well, for example.

Yeah, if you can go to a company's website & read how it's employees are getting rich selling this product, it's not the snake oil they're trying to sell. They're selling dreams and your friend is a customer. Not an employee.

I'm gonna go out on a limb here & guess there are probably seminars and motivational tapes/books required?

I looked at their "Coast-to-Coast" tour where they had a picture of the Space Needle, but it turns out they're not actually coming to Seattle. I kind of wanted to go to one of their presentations out of morbid curiosity.
