More Chicago questions, this time food
What's good to eat in the general area of Shedd Aquarium/Sears Tower? I'm not looking for a five-star restaurant or anything like that - just somewhere I can stop in and have a nice quick meal.

Something a little more area-specific.

What time of day and how much are you looking to spend per person?
Sears Tower is the Loop, so there are tons of restaurants catering to business diners, so you have lots of options. I would recommend that you go here: http://metromix.chicagotribune.com/dining/ and punch in Loop and Grant Park as your neighborhoods. If you're looking for true Chicago cuisine, I'd recommend the Berghoff on Adams Street -- the food is only OK, but the restaurant is a Chicago institution (for years, they had the first liquor license issued after prohibiton ended, although they closed for a while a few years ago and may have had to give up the coveted Liquor License #1).

Go to the corner of Augusta & California in Humbolt Park there are some nice yuppy places to eat. But **WARNING** it is a rough area with low income housing residents near by. If you know what I mean.

Augusta and California is nowhere near the Sears Tower or the Shedd Aquarium, though.
Another great Chicago restaurant is Manny's, on Roosevelt and Jefferson -- basically due west of the Aquarium and due south (mostly) of the Sears Tower. It's not only a great Jewish deli, it's also a Chicago institution.
