Today, I was on my way to my work's warehouse branch. I saw a black billboard saying:

It has no company name on it or anything like that.

So, what's up with that? Is someone trying to tell us that the "rapture" will happen on June 6, 2006 (666)?

Maybe it was an ad for The Omen. The teasers for it don't have any a title, just a 30 second shot of Damien sitting on a swing and then the date 6-6-06.

No, it's for The Omen remake. The trailer for the remake has the exact same design, in which the "6"s are seperated by upside down crosses.

Hah! I would love to see the panic those billboards would cause in some parts of the country!

One place I worked in Lufkin, Texas, there was an item that rang up at $6.66. People would actually go get something else to add to their purchase, rather than make out a check for that amount.
