But to all do some research about 666. The 3 old OMEN movies will kinda get you in the mood to understand it without being turned off like someone is preaching christainity. And also the LEFT BEHIND books and the movie THE OMEGA CODE and also there's this 1981 called THE LATE GREAT PLANET EARTH WHICH is narretted by Orson Wells. It's hard to find but there is a book which you can try to get at your libary.
The Omen (first one, not the others) was a good movie. It was well written and acted and was quite entertaining. One thing about it though - I never felt like it was taking itself seriously as if it were anything other than just a fictional movie.

On the other hand, The Left Behind (fiction) books and The Late Great Planet Earth ("nonfiction") do take themselves deadly seriously as if their themes are actually true and fact-based. IMO, that makes them pure garbage (I admit I haven't read them or seen any of the films).

It was, however, sad to see the once great Orson Welles prostituting himself near the end of his career and life (I suppose he needed the money) with such crap as TLGPE and that stupid Nostradamus "documentary."

Here's the intresting thing though that if you think about the 666 and everything that sorounds it. Is that not till the 21st century started all this stuff that was written seemed so weird and impossiable from happening. But it all does fit together and that's why a whole lot of christains are the way they are today. I mean you can forget about them trying to accept gay marriage, abortion or Islam religion to name a few.
And just those 3 that I mentioned are accepted by the average liberal.
On the Islam religion for an example they are allowed to pray in public school or it can be taught in a public school. But you think if they tried christain religion in a public school that would go? The ACLU will have their lawyers licking their chops.
I even saw last year on Bill Maur's HBO Realtime show he had a guest who is liberal and jewish who said he's starting to believe in all this end of times christain stuff.

I'm sorry where in revelations did it explicitly say that two guys marrying each other, abortion or the Islamic religion would spell the end of the world?

This thread is just turning into your excuse to vent your political issues. If you want to continue this, I'd suggest you go to the political forum. Otherwise, stop saying liberals will end the world.

I don't know, Alan Moore numbered the mainstream Marvel universe as 616 20 some years ago. That man is a prophet!

Not being a christain, i have no problem accepting when gay muslims perform abortions in public schools, but when someone tries to lick my chops i think the end of times are here. Bill Maur would agree with me.

Hey everybody the HISTORY CHANNEL on Sat. May 13 had a special on the Anti-Christ and 666. Did anybody cath it?
They may rerun on Sunday, so here's your chance to have your answers about 666.

Of course they did, there's a movie coming out that tenuously involves it.

"The History Channel... if it's a war we won or something to do with mythology, we'll devote eighteen hours to it"

It doesn't matter what the number "really is". People freak about 666. Whether they are right or wrong, it's good to know you can get a good freak with that number!

Right, you don't make it up, you just repeat what those who made it up say.

As I've said, the History Mythtery Channel has no credibility. It's schlock.

What?

You know, I couldn't slog all the way through Revelations. But the part that I read didn't mention Europe.

Right. Your other source was The Omega Code, which you suggested that people should watch a few pages back to get a better understanding of "what's to come". You know, instead of actually (and I know you've never done this, but trust me, it's not hard and boogeymen don't get you afterwards) reading the Book of Revelations. Whether a person's one of the faithful, reading up on religious symbols and symbolism or just some Goth kid interested as to just why he thinks it's cool to draw a "666" in Crayola washable on his forehead, it's the source to go to. Revelation 13, lines 16-18. Easy and quick!

wm, I doubt you've ever actually read the Bible. I'm sure you've looked at it, I'm sure you've looked up the scary-sounding terms on wikipedia to spook your friends, I'm sure you've gone into a church long enough to get a plastic rosary and brag that you're in the Jesus Fan Club now. However, it doesn't make you an expert on Christianity... and your anti-liberal bigotry cannot be explained by your beliefs. Jesus was a liberal, after all. If you're going to attack liberals, they give us thousands of reasons to do so without invoking a nonexistant Christian mandate...

Am I saying stop? No! Keep it up, you're hilarious. I was initially worried about you making the conservatives (and actual religious people) on the board look bad, but I'm glad that there's no way in God's green Earth that anyone could take you seriously.

You're so cute, wm lopez. I'd love to meet you one day and, just once, pat you on the head with a smile.

Okay, twice! It's what Jesus would do. If you're offended, you know what Flip Wilson used to say, "The Liberals* Made Me Do It!"

Jesus was indeed a liberal, but so was Satan. Satan rebeled and got his ass thrown out of heaven. I agree with 1960's liberals, but not 1990's to preasent day liberals.
Today the majority of liberals seem to concerned with earthly things instead of God.
And it does say in the bible that Satan rules this world and so maybe now you understand why I say liberals in my opinions.

Oh, I see. Satan rules the world. I do understand now why you say liberals in your opinions. Why do you keep posting in this thread? Every single post is exactly the same and you're bringing nothing new to the discussion except exceptionally poor grammar, spelling and logic.
