good places to eat in Ames, IA?
Looking for some place to grab some good food. Any recommendations welcomed.

 Seroiusly anyone have anything? I know they have some great BBQ/Steak type places there. Leaving in a few hours so any help is greatly appreciated  |

There's a great Burmese-Moroccan fusion bistro on the corner of 12th and Maple. Try the oysters!

Hickory Park is one of the more well-known restaurants. Great BBQ, but it can get busy depending on when you go.
I'd also recommend Great Plains Pizza.

Yeah, had some great plains for lunch and hit hickory park for dinner. The hickory roasted beef sandwich was awesome
 Great Plains was really good too. |
