Recommend me a bathroom scale
I'm looking to purchase a bathroom scale. Sub-$30, analog or digital. I've read that there can be accuracy problems with cheap scales, so I'm trying to get some advice on any good brands/models anyone likes. Don't really care about appearance, etc- price is really the only consideration.

This was only $19 when I bought it end of Dec. I'm too tall/athletic to use any of the body fat monitoring stuff, but the weight is incredibly repeatable and lines up very well with all of the full size balance scales at the gym.

And the bit in the middle about how everyone should keep their clothes on? Wow, just WOW, that's all I have to say." -Otto |

A rich couple are having an argument:
Her: You forgot my B-day you SOB! There better be something in the driveway tomorrow morning that can go from 0 to 200 in 2 sec. flat! Him: (sheepish) Ok ok, I'm sorry, I'll make it up to you I promise. The next morning, the husband had gotten up early to go play golf. The wife gets up and while in the kitchen, looks out the window and notices a smallish package neatly wrapped with a red bow in the middle of the driveway. Intrigued, she goes out, picks up the package, and reads the small card attached which says "Happy B-Day honey!". She then opens the package and... it's a bathroom scale. The End. ![]() |

Ok - big pet peeve here.
It's not "recommend me." It's "recommed TO me." Carry on.

I picked up a nice one at Target for under $50. It's digital and works really nice. I'll see if I can find it for you later, right now I have to drag my sorry butt down to Starbucks for a non-fat latte.

I got one of those body fat/weight scales from Target around $45.00...I think the brand is Bodymedics?? Its ok, dont think the body fat testing is all that accurate because it says I have 5% body fat. While I know Im fairly low, pretty sure Im not a skeleton.

Hmm. I'm skeptical of these bodyfat measuring scales, mostly because I don't really want to know that information. How do they work?

Did we ever get anywhere on this?
I'm looking for one myself and would like one that is digital and tells body fat. I am concerned about accuracy, but if it's off by 1 or 2% I'm not too worried. Does anybody have one and been able to compare their results to a Dr. visit?

Same here. I'm looking for a decent scale that measures body fat and isn't going to cost too much. Suggestions would be appreciated.
