YAGT: Sleeping over question

My girlfriend and I have been dating for about 2 and half years. She's 23 and I'm 26. She refuses to stay at my place over night (we are having sex though). Is it just me or does this seem odd? It's not like she's religious or something. I'm just not sure what to think.

What do you guys think?

Her other boyfriend gets jealous if she doesn't sleep there.

My personal opinion is that she has some maturity issues, commitment issues, and/or trust issues.

Where does she live? Are there any dissapproving type people who would wonder about her not showing up one night/morning?

Also, does she take a lot to get ready? Some women have morning rituals that seem to require a lot of cosmetic products, specific soaps and shampoos, and various electrical equpiment and accessories. It would take a lot of planning to spend a night.

Some just require their own toothbrush and clean towels, which, by the way, you could go ahead and get for her as an extra hint.

No, it's not that odd ... just curious. Why not just ask her? If you want, I can have sex with her and ask why she's in such a rush when she starts to leave ...

Yeah, this is the key. Sometimes people just can't sleep well at someone else's house (either because of how you have your place set up, or because she just can't sleep well unless in her own bed), and sometimes it's even that they can't sleep well with someone else sharing the bed with them, no matter where they sleep... I have had a couple of gal friends who've told me that was the unexpected adjustment to getting married, having to share a bed with a guy. If she's a light sleeper, she'll never get sleep at someone else's place, with someone else in the bed.

So if she's willing to let you sleep over at her place, it might be something about wanting to sleep in her own bed or something about your place that doesn't work for her. If she doesn't ever want you to sleep over, it might just be that she's more comfortable sleeping alone.
