I decided to join up cause I'd like to get my name out there as a screenwriter. I start browsing through the Orlando area looking for some old friends and stumbled across a few different attractive girls. I don't think anything of it but then I start clicking through a few pages and my oh my. Lots of beautiful babies here using the internet, right down the road from me! It's quite amazing. So, anybody have any experience using the site to date?

I think the hot chicks on myspace are generally looking for other hot people with whom to fraternize (based on friend lists I've seen). They're fun to look at, but that's about it (at least for an average-looking dude like me).

I just signed up with myspace last week. I'm not sure what to think of it. I've found two people that I actually know and I've added them as friends. So how do I get new friends? Do I just cruise around for random strangers and ask them if I can add them to my friends list?

You can search by groups if there's something you're interested in you can add yourself to it. We could even start a DVD Talk members only group. But, uh, you know, someone else could start it.
