My foot surgery

Some of you may remember my famous "Plantar fasciitis" thread, from about a year ago. Well, I finally got it fixed on Thursday. I had a little day surgery and it really wasn't too bad. Anyway, I thought I'd share some pictures with you all. Mods, if the last one is "too much", please feel free to link it or delete it.

Here's me and my foot...

My very first time having stitches!

Ooooooo! Stephen King, Dean Koontz and Clive Barker! Clive was in town last year for a book-signing and he was happy to see I brought in a first edition "Imajica". He's a really really nice guy (with a sick, twisted mind).

Wow. Glad it is on the mend. You don't really realize how bad you need your feet until you stand up...or walk....or kick dogs, and stuff.

I had the same surgery in May and was walking on it the next day... it was numb 48 hours. Went back to work after 2 weeks. Feel much better. $6000 surgery (doctor, anesthesiologist, facilities) and only have to pay $235 after insurance.

Hi Kitty - hope you're on the mend! It sucks when your feet hurt - makes it so hard to do the smallest things.

You got that right. Although the cool part is that hubby agreed to hire a service to come clean the house. They do the best work, I wish I could hire them to come here every week...
